We are looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This person develops and tracks metrics to review the performance of the business, and analyzes data to discover and solve business problems. Main Responsibilities: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Use data to answer key questions about the business Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action Design and develop metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions and improve performance Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by managers Own and maintain all dashboards, ongoing reporting reports, and ad hoc requests from the organization. Work closely with a wide variety of teams on performance review meetings, project planning/prioritization meetings, stakeholder meetings etc. Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary Requirements: 2-3 years of previous work experience as a business analyst or data analyst Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Management MBA or Master’s degree in Management/Industrial Engineering is a plus Experience in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools Knowledge of statistics and experience using tools for analyzing large and complex datasets (Excel, SPSS Modeler, SPSS Statistics etc.) Experience in writing SQL queries Experience in Python or R programming is a plus Experience in developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau etc. is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings to a range of audiences
